Stephen died on 24 August 1972 in North Lopham. He was buried on 31 August 1972 in North Lopham. He had his estate probated on 19 October 1972 in Ipswich, Suffolk - “GODDARD Stephen of The Green North Lopham Diss Norfolk died 24 August 1972 Probate Ipswich 19 October. £6348.”
